The first time this has been attempted in Melbourne, the Port Phillip Downwinder is the Godzilla of long distance windsurfing in Australia. This event is pending confirmatiuon from Guinness Book of Record as the Longest WIndsurf Race in the World. Taking place over a long distance course of aproximately 30km's, participants will test their endurance and skill on what could be the longest single tack run in the world.
